Litigation Paralegal – Construction Defect Focus

Responsibilities
- Investigate and develop cases for pre-suit matters, including mediation and arbitration.
- Draft and manage key legal documents such as responses to Notices of Claims, settlement agreements, and discovery responses.
- Track claims data, including mediation outcomes, settlements, and payments.
- Prepare Work Authorization Agreements and organize materials for hearings and arbitration demands.
- Coordinate and file circuit court submissions promptly and accurately.
- Support attorneys in hearings and final claim resolutions with comprehensive preparation.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
- Experience: At least 3 years as a paralegal, with a strong preference for construction defect experience.
- Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and time management.
